My niece Brynlee turned 6 today. We took the kiddos to mom's pool and they had a blast. We were the only ones there for awhile so it was nice not to worry about the kids. About an hour later, 5 car-loads of people showed up and it got a little hectic trying to keep watch on 6 little ones. In fact, thank goodness they have a lifeguard on duty... Chasen slipped under the water and was rescued by the life guard. Thank heavens he was watching!!! What a blessing...
Daddy was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer earlier this year and had surgery to have it removed today. The surgery was successful. In fact, the Dr. said that we were lucky to get it out and that it hadn't spread yet. Apparently where the cancer was growing, was within a hair's breadth from spreading to other organs! Phew! What a blessing... He had a hard time waking up from the anesthesia and stopped breathing. He was suffering from Apnea and it took about 4 hours for his body to wake up enough to continue breathing. We stopped to see him after the pool. He looked great, a little pale, but cheerful and happy to see us.
We're so glad he is OK and hope his recovery is swift! We Love you Daddy!!!

Wow, this is all news to me! The last update I got was that he was out of surgery and it was good they got it out.... Keep me posted out here in nowheresville! It's times like these where I couldn't feel farther away...Love you all!
