~Kids...They're so Silly~

Chase was playing dress-up and came to the top of the stairs and said, "Look! I'm Jesus! ~pause~ Wait! Jesus has to go potty!!!!" And off he ran!

Brielle asks if she can have some medicine. When I ask her why she says, "Because I have ISSUES!" (I think she was referring to her runny nose and that she needed to use tissues!?!)

Brielle asks, "Mom, Where are we going?" I respond, "Crazy".
Brie says, "Where's Crazy?" I say, "Anywhere we are at the moment." She says after a long pause, "Will my friends be at Crazy too?" I say, "No Brielle, Crazy isn't a place, it's a state of mind." "Oooohhhh!" she says, while giggling.

A rainstorm was brewing outside and Brielle said, "Mom! I SEE thunder!!!"

When pulling into the gas station, Avery asks, "What are we doing? The gas light isn't on!" I respond, "Believe it or not, we CAN get gas when the gas light's NOT on!"

When asked to shut the back door, Chasen responded, "I can't! I'm NOT big!"

Avery asks me, "Mom, where does the water come from?"
Brielle answers, "From the faucet!!!"

Wanting to go outside on a cold day, I said to Brielle, "It's chilly out there!" She says, "Mmmm, I like chili!"

Chasen REALLY wants to be like his daddy! He decided to "cook" one morning and made himself a Saltine and Syrup sandwich... He grabbed 2 saltine crackers, poured some syrup on one, placed the other on top and took a BIG bite!!!

Christmas Memories Created

Our Christmas began on Christmas Eve, with dinner at my mom's house. We enjoyed a lovely meal together and had fun visiting with my aunt and uncle, Luann and Scott, and my cousin Shannon, with her husband, Ben. It was fun to see them since we don't get to see them too often. After Mary read a few Christmas stories to us we had our children open their Christmas Eve present...new pj's.

The kids were very excited in the morning and came down the stairs to see what Santa had left them.
Avery was thrilled with her new bike!

Chasen has enjoyed his Tool Bench. He got a bunch of tools and a hard hat as well.

Daxton loves this ball. It sings songs and moves around so he has to crawl after it!

Brielle got a Hair Styling Chair, complete with hair dryer. It was broken and we had to return it the day after. She saw a Vanity, complete with washing station and sprayer, that she wanted more, so we actually didn't keep this Santa gift!

The boys...playing with their toys! I love it when they are so sweet together!

We broke out the Cupcake Maker, that my mom gave to Avery, and made some Red Velvet cupcakes. It was fun to play in the kitchen together, but what's a good time without adding Aersol Whipping Cream!?!

We are so grateful for the Christmas memories we have made this year and especially grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ. He gave us the best gift of all; a way to be together for eternity!!!
